But why? It can't be good for it. Next thing you will be complaining about how crappy your truck is and whining about Dodge not covering something on warranty.Treat your truck with respect and it will last a long time.

The stock Torque Management system is whats defueling the truck when you try to power brake it without any mods. DMax's have the same problem and at times it will still override heavy fueling from mods. EFI Live eliminates this but for the most part if you add a programmer or box it will break them loose most of the time.

The hypertech gave me good power.I just thought with this upgrade it might change it from defueling.

Defueling and Torque Management are the two hardest systems to overcome. You will never completely get rid of either one without hacking the ECM. (ie EFI Live, HPTuners, etc.) Plug in boxes and programmers are still tuned to make sure everything stays within safe parameters to keep the tranny alive.

I was just going to say, if you want smoke from a cummins get a smarty and set it to 9 (for the show and then back to drive it - or you will hurt something).

It will smoke like a frieght trane.
