2006 white smoke at idle

2006 3500 6 speed 5.9 straight pipe stock... when i start it up it white smokes a couple pretty good puffs....when i drive u can see it... but at an idle u can... any thoughts guys? would really appreciate it

its actually my buds truck but hes not computer enhanced we shall say

... but yes he bought it used

Mine does the same and took it in and it's an injector going bad.
