05 Auto to manual swap cost.
Got a call from a friend that his 05's slushbox took a ****. He was quoted 3k for an auto and 8k for the swap.
What is the ballpark cost of doing this? I told him I'd do some research to see if we can get it done a lil cheaper. The pickup is an 05 QC SB 4x4. Not sure on miles. Doesn't need a high HP rated tranny just one that'll last with a stock pickup that pulls a stock trailer more than not.
He has an 04.5 with a 5600 too so he has some time if the swap is a viable option.
