Question Adding lift pump ,....

Im adding a lift pump to the existing pump in the tank , my question is should i also change the fuel line for a thincker one ?? im adding the BD Lift pump if sow, what you recomend
?

it is never good to add a pump on top of the other pump. the weaker of the two will be a restriction. so if your intank pump is already going out, it needs removed or it wont allow the bd pump to pull the amount of fuel it needs.

Ok, sow i took the tank down and made a separate hole for the second pump ,(i dint add one infront of the other and sealed it real good) and it works great , both pumps working together neither is a restriction to the other, i went out last nite and tried it and it sure made a difference..... sow i just need to get me some injectors.humm:
