Arrow fuel filter/ Injectors

Could a very dirty fuel filter during a diagnostic/computer test show that the injectors are bad, when in fact it is really just the dirty fuel filter???

i think i know what you are saying. what we have done in the past is check pressure before pump then after pump and that should answer all your questions.

AlI know i Itook the truck in to have the injectors checked, because it had been hard to start. They checked the injectors with a computer and said the injectors were back (5 out of 6). Just for grins when I came home I changed the fuel filter, since changing the fuel filter I have had no other problems. Could the injectors still be bad??

125,000 miles on th truck and injectors (factory injectors). They didn't say in what way the injectos are bad. Only thing I was told is that 5 of the 6 were bad. one looked like it had been replaced recently ( which all are factory injectors). Back to the original question Could a plugged/dirty fuel filter have given a false diagnosis?
