Hi. My wires 04 is throwing a code for " low voltage sensed at lift pump". Does this mean that her ll is bad or could there be another (electrical ) problem. I read this code with my amarth from my 05. Anyone with experience with this problem please inform. I am considering replacing with aftermarket pump. Or use my 05 pump om her truck and upgrade mine. Thanks in advance.

 

That's a bad pump. Might be intermittent. When they start to go bad internally they pull to much amperage and will set the code. Her pump is on the back of the fuel filter housing, your 05 is in the tank. Not saying it won't work but would be a pain to swap everything and then figure out how to plum it into the port on back of bowl. My pump was getting weak so I finally stepped up to an Airdog. IMO it is worth the extra money.
