Default 4" downpipe question???

I'm looking at a 4" stainless diamond eye downpipe for my '03, my question is...will the end of the downpipe be pointing straight back and level after it is installed? I just ordered a stack kit and want to know what I will need to fill the gap between the back of the downpipe and the begining of the stack kit (flex pipe I believe)?

I figure I can easlily come up with a straight chunk of 4" pipe to fill the gap but I want to be sure that a straight piece will work, having to come up with something that needs a bend to attach to the downpipe will be a little more difficult with the truck in my garage

any experiences or knowledge appreciated!

you will have the downpipe...some pipe from the downpipe back to the bed and then flexpipe going to the stacks y pipe. as for the downpipe i dont remember if its curved or not.
