Change the oil, make sure that the radiator is filled full and overflow is at the appropriate level, basically have a complete service before parking. When you park the truck, make sure to have as 5 gallon can of diesel with you and fill the tank full, this lessens the possibility of condensation. Unhook the batteries. If you want, take 4 jack stands and put the truck up and have no weight on the suspension, no flat spots on the tires.
These are general suggestions, others will chime in.

I would start by putting some fuel additive in the tank and then running the engine for a few minutes to circulate it through the system. I would always use Sta-bil in my gas engines when I would go on deployment, and a quick look at their website shows they have a specific formula for diesel. As far as the batteries go, I would just disconnect them. That way, you shouldn't have to replace them when you return home. Hope this helps a little bit.
