My boss has an 06 CR with a dead hole(#6). he found a complete 05 engine, trans, and t case with 120 miles on them. what kind of nightmare would it be to put the 05 engine in the 06? everything is on the 05 engine (wiring harness, ecm, turbo, etc. Has anyone done a swap like this before? Talk to me. Thanks.

 

I'd put the '06 computer,wiring harness, valve cover, valve cover/injector harness, rocker box, and let her rip.

 

If its a later in the year 2005 engine where its 610/325 just like the 2006 then I agree with Jagsdiesel.
