The 3rd gen PS system uses 5/8" hose. I used a standard filter head for a PH-8A filter (standard Chrysler/dodge filter for years). I replaced the Wix with a Royal Purple filter last night because the RP supposedly has better flow and filtration...the Wix had about 2500 miles on it, and looked clean upon opening.

Not only did it add filtration, it also added almost a quart more volume...
