Problems With #6 Cylinder
Hey all,
Like it says. Bad misfire started today. Hand on manifold, #6 not very warm while others are hot. Scanned it and PO 306 shows up. Truck still has warrenty on it so they can fix it, but can anything be done by me?? Is there anyway to test to see if it's electrical prob or fueling issue?? Checked the oil and it hasn't come up on the stick any, so far. Fuel filter is new.
Thanks
Steve

Whit, Kinda what I was thinkin about the injector. It sounds like a super stock tractor starting to build boost at the pulls. My co-op is still selling low sulfer. ULSD hasn't made it yet. But, I still treat every tank. All last year I used Stanadyne. This year switched to Howes meaner power cleaner & Howes diesel treat.
Thanks much, appreciate the reply
