Would the Viper 791XV work with the factory settings of a 2007 6.7l CTD or what modifications would be required to get it working, or would there be a better choice for a remote start for this truck?

All the DEI Electronics systems (Viper, Clifford, etc) are designed to interface with the factory systems. You just have to get the correct module for your vehicle. The installer will inform you of this when you go to get the system and they will program it.

 

Thx DD. However, since I am located in Germany, where it is next to impossible to find someone to properly install such system, it would be interesting if there were any other ways to determine the right system?
