X2 Most of the times thats the best and only way to turn rotors is with an on car lathe. I am thinking the same that it is warped rotors they either werent turned true or it they were new ones they werent true out of the box. And most of the time when we would put new rotors on cust vehicles we would turn them anyways and just take a small amount off just to ensure they were true and gives it a rougher finish to help burnish the pads in.
