I put on new mud tires and got the same vibration. we balanced 4 times with no resolve. finally i got 4 new tires, different brand, fixed the vibration.

 

i got a recall paper from mopar about stearing linkage????? i didn't think much off it untill yesterday i started to get a horrible shaking over 40mph. you can't even hold the wheel its that bad. i am going to head into the dealership tomorrow and see what they say.

 

I'll be interested to hear how that goes. Wouldn't be surprised if they try to turn you away because of the lift and aftermarket wheels/tires.

 

yeah thats why i have been putting it off for a while, i figured it was a waist of time, and if they do take it in, it won't come back the same truck, if you know what im talkin about. i took it to my shop today, and he thinks its my stearing shocks, so i ordered a new set of them, a little heavier then the old ones and hopefully i will get to put them on tomorrow in the dark. i am sick of driving my wifes pontiac around, it don't seem as "cool". i sure hope it fixes it up for me. i do have a new front set of tires coming in two weeks, so i am sure that will help some
