smoke switch
my buddy has a powerstroke he did the smoke switch and it smokes more then mine i got a 05 cummins 2500 with bd box and edge 70 how can i get it to roll more smoke anyway of a smoke switch i can do ?
Try the search feature of the site.. There are millions of threads on this.. But just kind of heads up smoke switches are very shunned upon as our sport is getting a really bad name cause of everyone buying a diesel just to smoke out people.... Smoke is just wasted fuel and wasted power...
go get a smarty tnt-r, big turbo, fuel system and injectors!! alot of bottom fuel! but like the other guy said try to keep the epa off our backs! keep the smoke to a min.....just blow him out of the water when racing him!
I have a 2004 dodge cummins and i put one on awhile ago and it kept throwing it into limp mode and throwing codes so i took it off. She was rollin smoke like a 1950's freight train though haha
Smoke is fun, but it's also a sign of an overfueled engine with not enough lung power....
If you drop in 100 sticks, you will certainly be able to load the engine so long as you have a good converter that lock strong (ATS, BD, Banks, etc) This will roll insane smoke until of course the stock turbo starts moving the fuel through.
Watch your EGTs though. It's an easy way to add undue heat.
