Great! So in that case im ready for a clutch upgrade as soon as i can afford it. Is there anything else im missing?

 

Since this seems to be a "Valair" only post, I'm gonna make the suggestion that you call Peter at SouthBendClutch and talk with him directly. Tell him your plans and what you are doing now and will do with your truck later. He's a fountain of knowledge, and he's the man when talking clutches IMHO!!!!

 

X2. When I started blowing through my stock clutch, all it took was a phone call to Peter at South Bend. He'll ask you a short series of questions regarding how you use your truck and what your plans are for it and then recommend the clutch that best suits your needs. He won't sell you the next big whiz-bang super-grabber clutch just because it's the biggest and newest on the market if your truck can't make 100% good with it. This isn't a Valair only post. I posted the thread to find out as much as I can about both companies and the clutches they make. I appreciate all the information and advice everyone offers. Of course more is always welcome!
