It may take a while but I eventually want to get a new clutch. First im doing my new CP3, exhaust, and gauges. Then I want to get a clutch before I get a smarty and either some new injectors or nozzles to push the fuel. I have been looking into South Bend or Valair. I was set on a SB but from what I can find out their 450hp clutch is more for the street and mine will be a daily driver but when I get everything I want to be able to put my power to the ground and it will definitely be more than 450hp and im happy to say im coming up on that quickly. Valair says their clutches are good up to 800hp which seems like what I would want. But I wont have that much power for a long time or possibly ever in this first diesel truck of mine. I want to eventually push around 750-800 at the most. Could I get some help on choosing a clutch that would be good for what im looking for. I need something that will functionally work with my lower end power until I crank it up but also allow me to push more power and have the clutch be able to handle it. I understand I may have to upgrade in stages which is fine. I also am curious about the warranty on both clutches. I have heard people say that if your SB clutch cant hold the power, SB will upgrade your clutch for free but I don't really buy that. All help is greatly appreciated!

I dont really tow with it. I basically want to have a lot of horsepower to race and run at the track a couple times a month but also dont want to break anything at the moment. I will buy another truck later for towing but have no real purpose for it at this time. I could tow to earn some extra money with my grandpa and his friends once in a while but not more than probably once a month or less.
