Default 03 hard start only when it is cold

I have an 03 dually that is really hard to get it running when its cold. I checked fuel psi from lift pump it 8psi while cranking. Checked the fuel filter it was good. Checked the FCA it was sticking replaced it,the truck did good for like two weeks now it is doing it again. Can anyone help me i dont know what to do! oh yeah rail pressure only builds to like 1350psi while cranking that doesnt seem right because my 05 builds up to 5350psi while cranking but i want to make sure it the cp3 before i replace it.

Remove the banjo bolt on the rail pressure relief and see if it's leaking.

I read your problem several weeks ago, and mentioned the injector connector tubes to my mechanic. What do you know...it has made a big difference...

I owe you and diesel bombers for this one

I also had a connection problem on the plug for the FCA...Intermitent fuel pressure from poor electrical connection..

thanks again Keep that big cummins roll'in baby !!!
