Default fuse question

What side of the fuse it the dead side? Is there a positive and negative on each end of prongs, or on each side of fuse? I just need to plug my outlook fuse tap into the dead side of the fuse. Just trying to get the pos to work right.

Thier is no negative, both sides are positive. If you hook the fuse tap to the dead side if the fuse blows your outlook will go out.
I don't remember which side is the dead side if you have a test light pull the fuse out and that will tell you.
