601 fuse location
I have a 2004 ford f350, was working on dome light blew fuse, lost power to power windows, and instrument cluster along with interior lights. Book says it is fuse 601 located in cjb, but I do not have a 601 in the junction box on mine. Does anyone know where this fuse is? It is a breaker type fuse.
Thanks
Thanks
In my 2006, Breaker 601 is located in the Cab Junction Box. It's a metal can (silver) about 5/16" wide and 1 1/2" long. It's located towards the top left of the box.
When you look at it in the box, it's oriented vertically. That is to say it's longer in the vertical dimension than it is wide.
You might try looking one more time; it doesn't look much like a fuse.
Also, look closely at your in-cab fuse box (cjb) cover. Mine has a diagram of all the fuses and where 601 goes, it says 'breaker 601'. There are 2 horizontal openings in this cover and 'breaker 601 spans (vertically) across the upper opening.
Hope this helps...
