My wifes 05 idles fine the it idles rough then its fine again. THere is a little white smoke whenits started but that it. Does anyone know what my problem maybe?

 

Have you tried the key trick yet to see if any codes are present? Some guys have reproted cam/crank sensor problems. Injectors can't fix themselves so I don't think that's where your problem is. A faulty sensor can go in and out depending on the situation and the failure.

 

That or a crappy ground.

 

Cool guys thanks I am going to change the fuel filter cause it seems like it starving for fuel. I am sure the pump needs upgrading cause its stock. It only has the p0483 code the clutch fan speed code. I will check my grounds and change my filter I think i will check the fuel psi also.

This could be a bad injector leaking fuel into the cylinder when the motor is not running. When you start it, it runs rough and has white smoke from the exhaust until it burns the excess fuel.
