pac brake
hello everyone,
so I just got my first 05 5.9l cummins auto. I was wondering if I have a pac brake installed does that mean my transmission has some work done to it. I would like to get a programmer I just want to make sure my transmission, will be ready for future more upgrades??? thank you guys for your time.

What is the power goal with your truck? That will determine what to do with your transmission. If your not looking for all out amazing power, but a healthy increase, you could do a torque converter and valve body. Depending on who's you choose, $2000 plus labour. Or, if you want to go wild and crazy, $8000 for a complete transmission.
ya probably not go that crazy($8000), I dont want to do to much and have been looking into the torque converter. thinking about going with edge juice with attitude and the cts screen, a single stack and down the road a torque converter. with an upgraded body valve. main short term goal for now is 300 to 400lbs of torque and 100 to 200hp. long term would be the $8000 tranny and much more.
ya thats the issue, I am not very familiar with diesels other then I have wanted one for the past couple years. I have owned plenty of cars starting from N/A to turboed cars. but I wanted to get out of that and start a new style of life.
