The Edge Dash pod location blocked my view of the front corner of the truck. Not liking how the dash pod mounted on my '07 I was on the hunt for a better mounting location. I found a thread on one of the boards (I can't find the thread again) that had modified the Edge Pillar Pod for the '10-'12 trucks to fit a 3rd gen pillar. Willing to risk $60 for a better mounting solution for my CTS, I ordered one up.

The UPS truck dropped it off yesterday! A bit of trimming with my razor knife, got the thing to fit pretty good with the exception of a couple of largish gaps around the edges. Being the genius that I am ( ) I dug out my heat gun to see if I could mold the pod a bit closer to the OEM pillar.

I think it came out good enough to share the results with the community.

Are you perhaps doing this type of stuff to sell to another Dodge owner?
FWIW- I am a Disabled Combat Veteran who has Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and often has issues using my hands to do delicate type stuff like that. The signals from brain just don't get to my hands and fingers properly. Got blown up by an IED in Iraq.

Just curious man. Either way I like the look of that. I have the dash pod mount now.
