Default 2003 ram intermittent stalls when cold out

I have a 2003 2500 HO It has 345000 miles it starts great and idles fine , but then after a half hour it seems to stall when at idle, if I hold the brake and gas at the same time and keep the rpm above 1000 it doesnt stall i have noticed that when this happends the temperater outside is colder than 32 degrees out, it will act like this for about an hour also when this is going on the truck has hardly any power, in the morning when its cold it has pletty. this is just intermittent after about an hour of double foot driving it seems to go away and will idle fine for the whole day, but there is definatly some power loss, would the iat sensor cause this. already replaced the filter, lift pump, any help would be great before I waste more money

would a worn cp3 cause intermittent stalls after the truck has been running for a while and not pull any codes?
This is on a 2003 2500 ram with 345000 miles stock ho motor
I have replaced the fca and lift pump, any Ideas would be great.

Re-torque the crossover tubes (37ftlb i think) you have to remove the fuel lines to each injector (one at a time and you wont mix them up) and torque the bigger nut at the head connection. Its worth trying, no $$ and sounds like the symptoms.

I used to have an 03 that would do something like that. It turned out to be the return line on the back of the head was loose, when it was hot it worked ok but cold it used to stall and hunt sometimes at idle.it only took about a 1/4 turn to solve the problem.

Thanks for all the help we tighten the pressure tubes today and the truck now runs like it was new so much more power, only took my mechanic an hour. and what a difference i would definattly check that first from now on and I recomend any one else to do the same I was so close, thinking about buying new injectors, and to think how many people do when there not needed.

Thanks again

Default 2004 dodge Cummins, stalls and cuts up when cold

I have a 2004 dodge Cummins HO 333,000 miles . When the engine is cold the truck will peeder out as if it is running on 4 cylinders and some times it straightens up and sometimes it dies . It will do this until the engine is up to operating temp. I have retorqued the fuel tubes and checked the return line on the back of the head, I know the lift pump is working. Looking at live data I believe the temp sensor is reading correctly but with key on , engine off the boost sensor is reading 14 psi and 1.2 volts . Troubleshooter on the scanner says that the boost sensor is should only show 0.5v at idle but I still have 14psi and 1.2 v at idle . This has been a intermediate problem for the last 4 months and the truck will not throw a code .
