Default Hard starts, could it be dirty loose battery connections?????

Hey guys, so I have been having hard starts lately with my 2000 powerstroke 7.3....seems when I first crank it , she starts to slow crank after 3 seconds and won start...then I bring the key back and wait....and crank it again then it starts like nothings wrong....thinking it may have been my g plugs but it's 85 degrees out....I decided to clean all 4 battery terminals tonight, they were pretty dirty and the wires weren't real tight...hoping that when I try starting in the morning it gets extra juice...thinking maybe only one battery may have been starting it this whole time.........anyone else ever have this issue??????
