Replaced my lift pump. Cracked my injectors and got er fired up. Drove it to the store. Maybe 15 min. in the store, came out and no start. Had to crack em again to get er going. Any ideas?

If it was running smooth probably not air... Which lift pump do you have? Common causes for leaking back are return on vp44 is worn out or the return line on the back of the head (injector overflow) is leaky... What was it doing before pump was replaced?

It fired up this morning with a crack of 1 and 3, ran it to work. No problem. Went to the site and it sat for 45 min. and would not start. Cracked them again, got good flow but still would not start. Towed it home and will try the banjo and return line ideas.
Thanks

I'm sure you've already done this, but everytime I've taken off a banjo bolt that's been on there a while, they tear. I chased this down for a while the first time I tried to reuse gaskets(should have known better). Mine was doing the same thing when I put a new lift pump on. Also, it would feel like it was running good with the air leak, but when it was finally fixed, you could tell the difference.

my truck is doing the same thing. i changed my filter once and then it would not start. cracked the line and got it going. but not its had to start. i hv to bump the starter 3 or 4 times and let my raptor lift pump run then it normaly starts but been a few times i was she almost didnt go. im thinking thh banjo bolt is not tight and is there a gasket on them.. but there r days it will do it then days it wont.
