Default Turbo and egt's

i have a 64/74/14 turbo with 200 hp injectors or there suppouse to be 200's anyways i was wondering if this is a commom reading on egts to seems high to me and what could be the probblem.... running 68mph to 70mph at 5 pounds of boost im seening 900 to 1100 egts just cruisen ? any help be nice thanks guys

That's a big single charger on a VP truck.

get a smaller turbo, thats a monster. bet its a handfull when it gets a spinnin!

YOu think So Luke what with all these other people running 66mm turbos on the Vp's LOL Turbo2332 its not that big of a handful its fun but i always want more i do plan on doing compounds

Ok so everyone sayiong this is a big single well whats a good horse power range turbo that im gonna be happy with ? cause i do plan putting a cam in my truck and doing a big compound set up

That's way too hot... something isn't right. If I pedal mine just right I can cruise 65-70mph on a good flat stretch @ about 650* and I can hit 1000* if I'm careless passing cars, uphill, at highway speeds... with setup in my sig.

63mm would make a good charger for a single now and for twins later. engineered diesels will work for 550-600 as a single, spool faster then a 62, flow more then a 64 and i've seen it make 890 at the tires as a compound set up with i believe an 47?.
