Cruise sets just fine, but as it sets the rpm raises up considerable then it just starts to surge (bowl of cream on the dash,hour later on cruise you'll have butter) all lights work heater controls work. I've owned her for 9 years lost injection pump at 100k power steering pump at 160k auto tranny 174k have 181k now edge juice w/attitude, 4 inch exhaust, afe intake cold air bd lift pump. The cruise has had this problem for a few years just haven't put any time on it.. new member here but have been reading post here for awhile great site and thanks for any help.

 

I have the same problem with mine, haven't looked into it much, but it started doing it after I replaced my apps, I think I need to adjust it differently, Mabey same problem on yours

I have a similar problem. i believe it has to do with aftermarket comp/injectors overcompensating and surging a lot.

 

Mine does it so bad that it blacks the road out every 100 ft what is the cause?
