Default Head Gasket

So yesterday my head gasket went out. So i ordered one and my buddy read up later that night and he says there are 3 different gaskets that could go on my 2001 Dodge Cummins is that true.

Don't think I would order a gasket until I knew the condition of the head? If you have to take .10 out then you'll need to compensate.

I think he meant if there is damage to the head... Warped or such..

Was it coming out of the very front or front/side by exhaust manifold?

Have you checked your coolant yet? Its probably full of oil too.

IF your going to mod the truck or already have... Spend the 400$ to have the head O-rings installed! Spend another few hundred on ARP head bolts. Its worth it. Plus then you can hold down 80psi of boost! LOL!

OH and i only tell you this because the SAME thing happend to me.... Running 35psi on stock turbo is a BAD idea!
