I've heard about the syncromesh, been meaning to add it. Now you say you got the oil at the dealer, specifically what oil? 75/90? Would synthetic be a benefit?

Also, once a syncro starts to go, will the syncromesh fix the scratching everynow and then, or will the syncro need to be replaced? I've rebuilt manuals, just don't want to have to on my daily driver. And if I'm doing that, might as well replace the clutch (again) but put in a ceramic disc so it'll stand up a little better.

exactly send heath a message and he will take care of you. a lot better price than the dealer and as good if not better fluid. I run the amsoil in the 99 I had and it's now owned by a friend still going strong
