Does anyone know if any difference (length) between these 2?? My truck ('02) has p/n 3959009 which is for 03-07, and Geno's lists p/n 3937748 for '01-'02 trucks. I ask because when i changed the oil I put in 3 gallons and it reads about an inch below the "fill" marks on the dipstick. The dealer has changed the oil in the past so I wasn't aware of this. I'm sure they just kept filling til it read full on the stick. I dont plan on adding to full mark.....because capacity is 12 qts. Local Cummins dealer didnt have anything in stock to compare to or info on length of sticks.

 

CR's are a little longer for the extra quart of oil. They run 12, the 01-02's run 11.
