The brace keeps the steering box from rotating from side to side when you turn. Makes it have a tight feel. I'm sure it would help that out as well.

Torque I would also look into getting and upgraded steering dampener or replacing your stock one. Then I say you need long lower control arms to center the axle again, since you put a level kit on there.

I've owned 3 ram's never have I expierenced that whew!
