Default cummins injector question?

i am just about to install a set of 150hp nozzles on my truck and i dont know what to torque the nozzles down to. anyone?

i believe the nozzels get torqued to 35 ft/lbs on the body of the injector if thats the question you are asking ..if its the whole injector back into the motor then i'm not sure sorry. hope this helps

If you are referring to the bolts that hold down the injector, they are 10 N·m (89 in. lbs). Those tiny bolts will snap well before 35ft.lbs.

I hope your having them pop tested before you install them in your truck.

do you know if i would need a boost fooler for my truck. i have heard of defueling but i want to make shure before i buy one?

right now i have an edge ez tuner and a 150 gph rapter with all 1/2" line. i think with the 150 injectors and the chip set on the lowest setting, it shouldnt smoke that bad from a stand still and still have good power

Smoke will also depend on the quality of nozzle. Did you have them pop tested?

no and i was wondering if i need to have them pop tested or can i get away with not doing it. what is the purpose of a pop test anyways?
