Default Completely lost on this one

okay so ive been having this problem with my 2000 24v for the last few months...... when i turn on my parking lights it kills the engine...... like shuts right off ive traced everything and cannot find a short or anything ive spent countless hours studying the wiring harness and diagrams etc....... the weirdest part about it is when it kills the motor none of the lights dim as if there was a short its almost like a backfeed of some sort.... i just do not understand it can anyone help

What happens when the truck fails? A scan tool with data might help. Be nice to look at pcm and ecm voltages when the failure occurs. You could run it by dodge and have them run the pump in a standalone type setup to see if it eliminates the problem and work back. The one cause I can think of would be related to The asd circuit having some interference, or possibly a under dash wiring issue. A scan tool will shed slot of light on the situation
