24v Auto to Manual Swap

Default 24v Auto to Manual Swap
Swapped a 2001 24v into my Ford and installed an NV5600 behind it. Engine was originally an auto equipped engine.

I installed the NV5600 harness to the pcm. Engine is in limp mode. Do I just need to get a pcm that was out of a 2001 manual equipped truck or get the ecm from that manual equipped truck?

You gonna need a PCM from a manual equipped truck.

Well I have a 5 speed equipped 24v PCM, I'll give it a try or just take mine to the dealer to get boned.

Swapped in a 2000 5 speed PCM and it fixed the limp mode, that was a nice free fix.

yep need the pcm that matches the trans, and i needed the auto cluster when i swapped the auto in the manual one wouldn't read right.
