ok here my problem, i got a new turbo ( a bd super b special) but mt boost gauge will only top out at about 20 psi. put a new gauge in and thats not it, no holes in the hose. only thing i can think of is the intercooler anyway i can check it or take it to a garage. any suggestions what else to check?

Do you have enough fuel to spool it? Wastegate adjusted?

If you need to pressure test you can make a setup with some pvc tubing caps and a valve stem.

You need boost fooling or u will not see over stock boost numbers. Also need more fuel to get more air.

Yessir, bigger turbo on a stock truck will yield harldy anything because of fueling and boost reading derating your fuel output. You could throw in 200s and still not see good results without boost fooling
