Default is this pump issues

my good old cummins has been sick here lately, it has started stalling at take off it catches its self and usely dont die but some times it will die, and some times it will miss just slittly. im thiking its the pump, no codes done checked that, and change the filters and all my fuel presser is good. i did reflash my adr just in case but no go, its fine once u get over 1000 rpm runs grate
any ideas thanks in advance

Whats your fuel pressure doing during this?

every thing is good its a constant 17lbs

If your getting a constant psi then its not your pump. How old is your converter?

8000 miles on a tripele disk suncoast. this truck will only cut out about one or twice a week. thanks i havent thought of the converter, that sux tho that thing was expensive

remove the quad and drive it. but totally remove the quad eliminate it first then go from there

Could possible be VP44 or APPS.

Very true if you look at the IP or Apps thread in this forum. A guy had similar problems with apps. purchased a new one and problems disappeared. try adjusting your apps volts.

it poped and farted and sounded like a small back fire to day as i gave it the gas leaving a stop sign, not hard just going ez with the quad turned down to 1. so i guess im going to change the pump out my question is everyone says the SO pump will make more power than the hot rod 100hp pump, but is there a pump that i can get 40hp or so, i don't plan on doing any more power at this point.
