hey guys, ive been having trouble with getting my reverse lights to work. ive checked, and fixed any screwed up conections that could possibly cause it, and they still will not light up. the regular driving, braking, and directionals work fine just no reverse lights. im not shure how these work, but is there some type of switch that grounds it out in the steering column when put in reverse for the lights to elluminate? any idea's what this could be?

 

I have a problem with mine going on/off/ on. I haven't checked yet but I think the switch is on the transmission. Did you check the bulbs?

 

the bulbs were the 1st thing i checked, and they were good. i ended up figuring it out. it was the the light-mate blocks that you bulb harness plugs into they were all corrded and disintegrated witch was causing them to short out, and pop the 10amp fuse. so i ended up swaping out the harness, and soldering in one from the junk yard. i suggest you check all your connections/plugs for corrosion, and check the fuse.

 

that would cause them not to work. :-)
