okay, is this the parking brake light or abs light? theres 2 different lights

It's the red parking brake light. The abs light goes off just like normal, but the parking brake stays on.

then its not anything with your abs system, its something in the wiring on your parking brake switch

Ive checked, no suck luck. Brakes feel spoungy, but no problems other than that.
had to replace a leaky wheel cylinder.

did you ever figure it out im having the same problen and my rear brakes arent working 98 12v 4wd

It sounds to me you still have air in the system. Did it all bleed out after the cylinder install?
