Ive been looking at some turbos on ebay in the $400 range. Im alittle scared to buy in the blind. Has anyone tried any of these?

DO NOT BUY THAT TURBO! I fell for the same thing and bought a cheap hx40w from ebay and it was a POS. The compressor wheel was like 55mm tiny, and it cant take the heat. I nuked it in 4 months.... granted the seller gave me my money back but it really aint worth it. Save some money and get a s300 frame turbo

 

Run away! I put one of those on my friends truck and it lasted 6k miles. It ended up spitting the exhaust wheel out the downpipe.

 

Spend the money and get a Industrial Injection Turbo

 

Yep save your pennies and buy a name brand turbo like IIS, BD, Etc

 

youve done lost your mind if you put one of those china made junky piles of crap on your truck go either II or BD both have a great product.
