front end kinda makes noise like a clunking sounds. pulled actuator cover off the short/pass side axle that holds the collar is "lose" i can grab it and move it around...i cant do that to the driver side. what could that be?

 

maybe inner bearing is bad?

 

i wasnt/not sure there is an inner bearing...

 

Can you hear it when you're drivin? If so, it might be the inner shaft that's come completely loose. Had it happen to mine, fixed for 100 bucks at a local shop.

 

yea i only hear it when im driving... try to put in 4 hi n get a ton worse..

 

It could be your axle U joints if its doing it in 4wd. See if you have any play in them. Or your u joints in your front driveshaft.
