possible boost leak? or..?
truck has no get-up n go. every now and then if i hammer it it has a strong pull for a sec then goes back to low power. no codes no smoke that i can see. new fass pump vp pump. truck runs/idles fine. other than said problem above. i was thinking boost leak... i have no gauge yet working on that. but whats the easiest way to check for boost leak? soap and water? or whats the other poss. i already reset the apps. any help would be great.

You can make a boost cover to fit over the turbo that has a fitting to pump up the intercooler system from Home Depot. You need a pvc cap, I don't know what size it is, just measure the turbo inlet, a threaded schreader valve, rubber coupler. Drill a hole in the cap and thread the schreader valve into it. Make sure to use about 30 lb of air pressure, this way you won't blow the hoses up. Then using either soapy water or listening for air leaking, you should be able to find a leak if there is one.
