Is it safe to run a braided steel line off the breather and tap it into the valve cover without any sort of breather. Has anyone done this ?!?!??! or must I also tap a port for a breather as well.

You're talking about running a line from the breather to the valve cover? I'm assuming to return the little bit of oil that comes with blowby? You'll have to drill and tap for another breather if you do, no where for crankcase pressure to evacuate if you don't.

yea thats what i was thinking, the reason i am doing this is because i am building another motor but for the mean time i am running my old 24 valve block and the piston rings are shot so my blow by is bad and i lose a good bit out of the breather. i have a catch can in place now but i thought this might be a lil bit easier just to tap it back into the valve cover. I was hoping someone else has tried this before i attempt it
