i wonder if i can take off the breather and put the access cover on it and get rid of the breather all togother help just wondering....only reason im askin is cause i saw the sell a cover for a 99 which is a 24v and then in 00 the put that dumb bottle on there any input is greatly appereciated thanks

My 99 is some sort of bottle?! It says you can drain it but i never looked into that but should because i think it needs it!

NO you can not get rid of the crank case breather. is you plug it up you will start blowing crank seals. either remove the bottle and run a hose straight down past your sway arm or do the cc breather mod where someguys are running pvc from cc breather up and over the intake plate and down past the starter. or if you want to remove it all together then you have to make a breather out you valve cover or drill a hole in you oil fill cap and run a threaded pipe fitting to a hose somethere.

but what ever you do do not remove it all together and plug it up.

the crankcase breather on the front of my truck has a cap with no openings, but does have a breather hose hooked up somewhere on the block with a hose to the ground, the truck came that way and the fellow I got it from had all work done by the dealer. Its a clean set up and I do not have to worry about oil on the radiator. ED

alright guys thanks alot i just saw the access hole cover and figured i could do it thanks alot
