DobermanDiesel,

When I read your post, the first thing that came to mind is maybe it is in limp mode. I tried to do a quick search, but wasn't finding really what I was looking for. From what I did read, there are no codes for being in limp mode and it is like having no power, maybe similar to what your feeling....not too sure. If you get a chance check for codes any way to be on safe side. Some one also stated something along the lines of the speed sensor that is on the tranny. Figured I would try to throw some ideas out there for ya.

i checked for codes and not getting anything also i just changed the speed sensor but it may be bad i think i have a gremlin in my truck just yesterday i was driving and i got on it pretty good and my check gauges light came on my oil pressure was at zero as i but on brakes to pull over it jumped back up to normal and would move with the throttle so i came back home it did it again and then came back on still no codes not sure whats going on here

and i got a code out of it p1693 fault in companion module i am wondering if its just not a bug and if i can clear it and roll with it

i did the switch trick and went to have it scanned i had it cleared and its not doing the oil pressure drop anymore but i am worried its gonna happen again i swapped the electrics in the vb a few weeks ago but that was simple and i did a clean install i am gonna go through the grounds as soon as this weather breaks but is funny that its doing the trans thing and now this check gauges light the oil pressure goes to 0 and then it comes back could my adr be causing the problem

I think you have a couple of things going on.

The oil pressure issue is likely from a bad pressure sensor.

DobermanDiesel,

I am not familiar with the ADR. As far as the truck feeling like the brakes are on while driving, did it feel that way once you had the codes cleared? I am curious what codes were present that were cleared. Did you happen to get them wrote down. This might help in giving a direction in which to look next. Also have you checked the brake lines to make sure that none of them were collasped, kinked, or damaged?
