ok i was driving down the highway at 75 or so everything good then all of the sudden check guages light pops on and the volt guage in the dash is at 8 or minimum and i change the attitude to ecm volts and it says 11.5-11.7... any ideas?

 

Well the voltage reglator went south or the alternator is bad.Check the batts first,then take the alt to get checked.The volt should be at 13.8 to 14.1 on the volt while driving.
