Does anybody know if they make a kit to put a allisions in a cummins the tranny finally went out in my truck today and a allision is the way i would like to go if possible

it was also behind alot of those delivery vans that had the 4 cylinder cummins. you could try a salvage place to get the parts.

 

Yeah. And i dont know if that includes like a tcm adapter or whatever for controlling the tranny. But it might be worth a call

 

im going to give them a call in the morning and go from there see if it is worth it or if I should just get the one in the truck built cause i only want to do this once

the allison transmission is not all its hyped up to be. i had a allison conversion in my 99 puller stock that lasted to about 500hp and took a major ****. but when you combine the tranny with a Suncoast build kit...... its a pretty rank trans. Cheaper to just get the 47re built
