soundproofing
well i finally ordered some sound proofing after taking the truck on the highway and crusing for an hour at 70 mph its loud haha to loud. So i havent looked to much and remving my interior but does anyone have any advice on this process? I ordered 100 sq ft so i should get alot of coverage. I have 6 inch stacks, so i was planning on doing the back wall of the cab, the roof, and as much of the floor as i can. Any other suggestions?

Can't remember anymore, not to mention the fact that I put 2 layers on the back wall. Think I used about 100 sf all told, could have been a bit more though...

I decided not to do the traditional dynamat thing, so I went with some soundproofing paint, and then put a layer or two of soundproofing neoprene over that. Dropped the sound in the cab a solid 10db without having even done the firewall.

I hope so, at least if i want to double it up ill already know how to remove my interior haha. I see your sig says you have twins, did you do the soundproofing before or after you installed the twins? from what i understand is that they will muffle your exhaust a good bit as well however they are not in my budget at the moment haha

I will get the firewall soundproofed (probably next year).
