I have a set of 2001 injector cores that I was wondering if I could use as cores when I get new injectors for my 04.5 cummins. Question is , will the injector company know the difference if I sent them my 01 cores instead of my 04.5 cores?

 

Yes, they will know... There is a big difference between the two. Plus 98.5-02 24v are only worth about $100 as a core and yours (common rail) are worth about $300-$400 as a core so I dont think they would accept the 01s.

No for a set generally they go for $300 a set...
