Can anyone tell me what will help slow down rust or stop it on the body. I have some rust on the bottom of my door and over two wheel wells. I dont have the money or the means to replace em because its a work truck but i want to paint it and at least put somethin on the rust so it looks half way good.
any one use anything? or tryed anything?
im thinking of trying KBS Coatings RustSeal Rust Preventive Coating, or duplicolor.

 

Buff it down with a scratch pad/grinder to bare metal and paint it. Unless the rust is gone, it will only continue on its natural course.

dont go with duplicolor. doesnt cover very well and its hard to get an even coat. at the least go with a rustoleum product if your gonna rattle can it. there are others like above as well.
